Which waste sponge materials are suitable for processing with this equipment?

The range of raw materials that can be processed is wide, but their characteristics and processing effects are different: Ideal raw materials: clean polyurethane foam, high resilience sponge, memory foam scraps, furniture factory/mattress factory cutting scraps. Can be processed, but please note: composite scraps containing a small amount of fabric and thread ends (need to be roughly sorted in advance); Mixtures of different densities. Not suitable or requiring pre-treatment: Sponges with severe pollution (oil and chemical pollution); Completely solidified and hardened waste; Waste containing a large amount of hard foreign objects such as metals and plastics (must be sorted).

What is a sponge roller shredder? What is it mainly used for?

Sponge crushing and shredding machine is a specialized recycling equipment for processing waste sponges, sponge scraps or large sponges. Its core function is to physically decompose block shaped and strip-shaped sponge raw materials into small, fluffy fibrous or flocculent materials (commonly known as "sponge fibers" or "sponge filaments") through mechanical actions such as rolling, tearing, and squeezing, which facilitates subsequent recycling and reuse. It is a key pretreatment equipment in the sponge recycling economy industry chain.

What is a filter sponge processing machine? What is the difference between it and a regular sponge cutting machine?

The filter sponge processing machine is a specialized equipment designed for deep processing of polyurethane (PU) perforated filter sponges. Its core function is not only cutting, but also includes continuous hole rate control, surface finishing, aperture adjustment, specific shape forming and other processes. Compared with ordinary sponge cutting machines, it focuses more on functional surface treatment and fluid dynamics performance optimization, rather than just geometric dimension processing.

What are the important safety regulations for operating a sponge cutting machine?

Personal protection: Cut resistant gloves must be worn during operation, and wearing gloves with wires is strictly prohibited; Suggest wearing goggles; Tight fitting attire, with long hair curled up. Equipment status: Before starting up, check whether all components and safety protection covers (such as blade guards) are intact and in place. Standardized operation: It is strictly prohibited to touch the blade area or clean debris with hands or any tools while the equipment is running. When adjusting the thickness or replacing the blade, the main power must be cut off. Emergency situation: Familiarize yourself with the position of the emergency stop button, and immediately press the emergency stop button in case of any abnormality.

How long does the flat cutting machine blade need to be replaced or sharpened? What are the signs?

There is no fixed cycle, it depends on the cutting amount, sponge density, and blade material. The signs that need to be addressed include: The cutting surface shows obvious wire drawing, burrs, wavy patterns, or rough surface. The noise and motor load increase significantly during cutting. The dimensional accuracy of the cut sponge pieces begins to decrease. More thrust is needed to complete the cutting.

What are the main types of sponge cutting machines?

Horizontal cutting machine: The blade moves horizontally, and the sponge is fed on a horizontal worktable, which is the most common. Vertical/Longmen Flat Cutting Machine: The blade moves vertically and is suitable for cutting ultra wide or specific sized sponges. Simple manual/semi-automatic flat cutting machine: Low cost, thickness adjustment and feed part rely on manual labor. Fully automatic CNC flat cutting machine: integrating automatic feeding, thickness setting, continuous cutting and stacking functions, with the highest efficiency.
